A water-cooled acousto-optic q-switch for use in high-power nd:yag laser systems. Combining top grade fused silica with high quality optical finishing and in-house anti-reflection coatings, this q-switch exhibits very low insertion loss and high damage threshold. Through an innovative design and manufacturing process, rf powers up to 100w may be applied.

standard options include a choice of frequencies (24 to 68mhz), active apertures (1 to 8mm), acoustic modes (compressional for linear polarisation, shear for unpolarised) and water connectors. Customised housings are available for oems.

We are offering laser marking head,
a whole laser marking head consists of two scan mirrors, two galvanometers & drive cards, a xy mount (galvo mount), a scan lens (f-theta lens), an interface card (da card), a set of marking software and dc power supply. Two types of scan optics for co2 and nd:yag lasers are available. The scan field (or marking field) depends on the selection of the scan lens and ranges from 50x50mm to 255x255mm. The marking software supports various fonts, pictures (plt, bmp), automated series numbers, date, time, barcodes & datamatrix.

The most common type of beam expander is derived from the Galilean telescope which usually has one negative input lens and one positive output lens. The input lens presents a virtual beam focus at the output. For low expansion ratios (1.3-20 times) the Galilean telescope is most often employed due to its simplicity, small package size and low cost.

by virtue of having no moving parts our acousto-optic modulators (aoms) are able to amplitude modulate a laser beam at very high speed. For example modulation bandwidths in excess of 50mhz are readily achievable. In an aom a laser beam is caused to interact with a high frequency ultrasonic sound wave inside an optically polished block of crystal or glass (the interaction medium). By carefully orientating the laser with respect to the sound waves the beam can be made to reflect off the acoustic wavefronts (bragg diffraction). Therefore, when the sound field is present the beam is deflected and when it is absent the beam passes through undeviated. By switching the sound field on and off very rapidly the deflected beam appears and disappears in response (digital modulation). By varying the amplitude of the acoustic waves the intensity of the deflected beam can similarly be modulated (analogue modulation).
